STEP 1:
Complete the state certified training, which includes the topics of Powers Of Arrest, Weapons Of Mass Destruction, and Terrorism Awareness. This course can be completed with our company. Once the class is complete you will receive a certificate stating your completion of the class and you will be given your Live Scan Forms.

STEP 2:
Complete the Fingerprinting requirements. With the Live Scan Forms issued at the completion of your state certified training, visit a local Live Scan Service Provider to complete the process. Local providers include your local Police or Sheriff Departments, or certified private Live Scan providers. When you complete the Live Scan process, you will be issued an Automated Transaction Number or ATI. Keep this number, as you will need it to complete step 3.

Step 3:
Complete and submit your state application and attach your certificate of completion for your required training along with the ATI number issued at the time the Live Scan was done. Once your State application is submitted, wait about 5 business days for your approval and once it is given, you may start working as a security guard.
